Inspection, testing and maintenance of Wet and Dry Risers in accordance with BS9990.
Dry and Wet Risers provide large volumes of water for fire services in high-rise buildings. Dry risers are used in buildings over 18m, while wet risers are required for those over 60m. Dry risers consist of vertical mains with ground-level outlets, allowing fire services to connect to a water supply for fire control.

Testing Process:
Engineers pressurize the riser to 10 bar for 15 minutes, ensuring no leaks. Specialist equipment, including water bowsers, is used for testing, avoiding fire hydrant water. -
